    Light is a 400W HPS with Air cooled hood
    Carbon Filter with Extraction Fan

    I don't have a inline fan so is it fine just to extra the heat from the light

    Yes. Should be.. far from ideal but you should be ok.

    I would recommend getting an inline fan.
