Is this soil fert good for veg?

    I'm about 3 weeks into vegging and all I could find at the store that is the closest to the 'miracle gro patio food' fertilizer is "Miracle-Gro" Tomato Plant Food (18-18-21) is this okay to use? i heard tomatoes like to grow in the same conditions as mj

    I hear shultz is pretty good. Whatever you get, the first number should be the largest, the last number should be the second largest and the middle number should be the smallest.:D

    could i just add a small amount of urine to boost up the nitrogen to the fert im using now?

    umm... nutes are differnt for veg(growth stage) and flowering (bud stage)

    higher nitrogen (first number) is better for veg

    higher potassium (second number) is better for veg

    the last number which slips my mind should remain constant as the plant needs the same amount for its entire growth.

    urine drastically increases the pH and can be extremely harmful to your plants
