Is this safe to smoke

  1. IMG_20231108_175515.jpg I've got about 10g left in a jar that I forgot about for like 2 months now. It's meant to be stardawg but it doesn't smell very stardawggy anymore and I'm not sure if it is starting to develop budrot

  2. Its not very often that bud gets moldy during storage unless it was contaminated in the first place and stored in higher humid conditions. Personally, I don't see any mold, but it's not a very clear picture. Over time some terpenes will dissipate, so the smell dwindles. Is it safe? I'm sure you're fine.

  3. No sign of mold that I can see. Smoke away.

  4. If you lightly touch the brown spots and they crumble or turn to dust then it's budrot.

  5. As the others mentioned it looks fine. Here's a bud I've had in storage for 2-1/2 years now. Cannabis tends to lose all its green pigmentation after a few years. 20231109_102554.jpg

  6. Thank you everybody for your replies it's been really helpful. Due to it losing it's aroma and colour I got really anxious due to a bad batch I smoked a few years back. Thank you everyone.

  7. I find the "smoothest" smoke comes from buds that have been left long enough for the chlorophyll to be broken down.
