my friend recently gave me a pipe. And it was super dirty, after cleaning it off fully I noticed on the metal there's almost a rust colored area. My friend said that it's not rust but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?
looks rusty and worn, just go buy a glass spoon instead, they smoke and taste better than metal ones anyways, Mine was only 20$ at my local head shop.
Your picture is terrible. Taste it or sand it ....... rust can both be tasted and smelled when sanded . Steel/Chrome has a copper coating in the process of chroming steel parts .
lol thats where the stainless steel coating wore off. You can get a new bowl for $1.00 at you local smoke shop. Or use a socket . Good luck!
