Hi everyone. Here is my situation: This is my first grow, so I'm probably starting to do all this a bit too late. But, I want to top this plant down to the 2nd node. I want to do this for a couple reasons: **Can't upsize the pot (~1-1.5 gallons) I think a smaller plant will be easier for the roots to support, **The main stem is pretty long...very stretched after the second node. I figure it takes a lot of energy to push nutrients all the up to the top, so why not just shorten it. I guess what I'm after is maximizing yield/pot size. Is topping down to the 2nd node too much? What should I do to maximize yield and/or potency given the confined pot space?
