Is this plant ready for harvisting?

personally it doesn't appear to be ready but ouch on those nute burns

 

dont go pure water, just lighten up maybe 2/3 nutes or so, see how it goes. if not, drop to 1/2, and so on.

I don't think that this is a nute burn. I think it is an ongoing pH problem. Nute burn will tend to show itself on the tips of the growing leaves, then develop necrosis. Yet, it is spotty. I have no idea.
But I think that the pH was just somewhat too high to burn the leaves and not affect the yield...as the buds are still pretty well formed...and a red tone to the bud....due to the mature pistils.
Question is...are you going for personal consumption or quantity of yield...and if both....looks ready to me.

 

If it is just one week shouldn't he just flush it with plain water to prevent the fert taste in the bud.... I've read to start doing this 10 days before harvesting.

 

I guess I didn't see where he said it was one week before harvesting. But personally, it looks quite mature. You can see that the pistils have started turning. I still wonder if flushing...with water...is all that it's cracked up to be. I've had a few harvests...where I didn't flush...and I couldn't tell the difference (soil grow) in taste between the two previous (flushed) grows...same mother.

could be ph or could be the ferts arent right for the strain...i would leave a llittle loinger...I like to flush so i would be thinking of doing that at this stage..

Yes you should have started giving it pure H20 at least 2 weeks before your harvest in order to get the chemical taste out of your buds. Give your girl twice the volume of water as the container volume, this is called the flush which is a very important part of harvesting, you dont want to skip it. Go get a flushing agent from a hydroponics store if you have one, if you dont your smoke is going to be very harsh and taste of chemicals considering you are about a week late on the flush. Also, your fan leaves should look yellow when you are near harvest, the plant is sucking out all of the nutrients it can from the leaves in order to pack on as much weight as it can.
