Is this oil completely purged?

    I just bought some oil for the first time today but it hardly got me high at all. When i smoke the oil it flames up real fast and theres lots of black smoke. Im wondering if maybe the person did a shitty job purging it or something. Im not sure how it was made but it cost me $50 for a gram. This is my first and probably last time buying oil.

    Tried to upload pics but it isnt working for some reason. Oil is very dark and very sticky and smells slightly sweet like freshly vaporized weed. I ended up smoking a gram of it tonight and about the same amount of bud as usual so it was a total waste of money.

    So is this just shitty quality oil or am i smoking leftover iso/butane?

    Its going to be hard to tell without any pictures, but it could just be bad oil.

    does it feel really harsh at the back of the throat?unpurged oil always hurts my throat.the lighter it is the better the quality.you dont want bho thats green or brown since that means that there is more plant matter and that is not what you want when it comes to bho. and also try to stick to crumbles since theres more of a chance that its purged correctly

    But OP, probably cheap butane, shitty product, or poorly purged. Or even cut. Who knows.
