Is this nutrient burn or something else?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by SpiritedAway, Aug 23, 2020.

  1. So I woke up and my plant looked really healthy but one leaf was a little smaller. Then fast forward 6 hours or so and the tip on the leaf looks dark and wilted. I transplanted them around 2 days ago and it seemed to be thriving until this happened. I immediately carefully picked up the plant by the compacted dirt and put it back into the container it originally was in. Any thoughts/input. (Before and after shots included)

  2. I'm thinking you probably should have kept it in its new home because this is often common during transplanting. Usually takes the plant a couple days to get over the shock of its new home.

  3. It looks fine give it a couple ov days itl be ok.

  4. Yeah that’s what I was thinking. It’s 2 going on 3 weeks old. But it probably was to early. I had nutrients added to the soil and didn’t think it would affect the plant negatively, seems it was too concentrated.

  5. I would have but I was worried it would continue to grow and establish a root system in soil with too high nutrients. Since only one leaf was affected I’m thinking it’s better to act now and remove it, then to leave it for potentially more nutrient burn. Luckily it wasn’t really established yet and the dirt was clumped together from when I first transplanted, so I lifted it up and set it in the original container in 15 seconds or less carefully.
