Inexperienced grower here. Have done a few grows from cuttings but this is first time from seed for me. Two of my plants on right sight turned out great with nice buds. The one on the left has looks different with really small buds and lots of little curly leaves. I'd this normal for seeds of same strain? Or did I mess that plant up somehow? Thanks

  2. That's the problem w/ growing w/ beans. You never know what kind of pheno's you're going to get. It can be the same strain, but every plant be totally different from one another. Curly leaves at the tips(clawing) can be: heat, or over-feeding. Patience. See what happens. Take a picture on the start of each new week & compare, but obv keep your eye out every day. Your buds will GREATLY increase in size if you can consistently keep your RH %age from 60-65, but please, make sure you have air moving around & read what I say next before doing all that.

It would do you some good to clean up the bottom/middle of those things. Those fan leaves can go & all the other shit that's not getting any light/super popcorn-ish.

  3. forest gump. Life is like a box of cholate site:youtube.com - Google Search same as seeds .

  4. Seeds are just like people. Sure, most your kids will have similar traits to each other and parents/ancestors. But once in a while you get one with downs syndrome. Also, once in a while you get an Olympic athlete. The "Olympians" of weed plants are the ones that get selected for cuttings. Think GG4. As synonymous as Michael Jordan. This is why you see some cuttings selling for $500+ because the breeder put in the work to grow hundreds of plants and find that one that is a huge producer of amazing goodness.

  7. Definitely female. Just not a great pheno. Seeds definitely come with their downsides but its still better than buying cuts that could have bugs, mold, or HLVD.

  8. @420JoeBlow I'm not familiar with HLVD. Could you please elaborate? I am familiar with TMV (Tobacco mosaic virus). Is it something similar?

  9. Hop latent viroid (HLVd) is a single-stranded, circular infectious RNA that is completely dependent on its host plant's metabolism for replication. As the name suggests, HLVd occurs worldwide in hops, but it can also infect hop's relative, cannabis.

It basically makes your plants grow weak and overall "not as good". Branches break off very easily, growth is not as vigorous, buds not as frosty/tasty.
