Hey guys I have planted this for about 4 weeks now and I have fim it on the top but it's looking odd, here is a pic Can you guys tell me what might be going on? Or am I just worrying too much lol. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
And the leaf feels very dry as well for some reason Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Looks good to me. Maybe a little droopy but funny looking leaves at top are from when you FIMM the top. What all are you using and doing in your grow? Need all the details to be able to help. Container Grow room type and dimensions Medium Temp RH pH Light schedule and type of light Nutes Training techniques used I'm sure I'm missing some but I'm super tired. Been up 36Hrs straight so don't mind my errors. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Okay, so for the grow room, this is a stealth grow so it's not big at all.. And the medium is roots organic and the temp during the day is usually 79-83, I'm using CFLs with 18/6 schedule. Ph is around 6-6.3 and fox farm tiro nutes and a little bit of LST but I took them out and let it grow. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yep you should be on ph 6.5 but thats not big deal and i think youre abit overwatering it thats why the leaves are getting down more
The plant looks perfectly healthy and fine to me. I don't see what you're talking about. During veg, you can do pretty much what you want to with them as far as topping, tying them down, etc. But be careful of stressing them too much once they go into flower. Some strains don't take any stress well and will make you a fine set of seeds if you stress them too much. But your plant in the picture is beautiful as best I can tell. Good job! TWW
For CFL im using 4 23w day light and 1 42 w soft white, the reason is so far is because the CFL actually gets fairly hot, idk if it would heat stress them, the CFL right now is about 7-8 inches away form the light but ya this is my very first grow tho, so if you have more tips/tricks you are more than welcome to put it here, I take all the advice I can thank you all!! i usually water them when the top of the soil feels dry, I usually stick my finger down a little ways as well but I can never tell, the top is very dry but if I stick my finger down, it doesn't feels wet but it's bit cooler and it's darker as well , do you have any tips on checking that ? I do the same thing, i overwatered my plant two days ago but he recovered a day after now hes good next time use more perlite and dont worry about the cfl they dont get too hot i keep one 23 watt about 1 inch away because i have just 1 for now if you see its too hot get more ventilation and try placing them 2-4 inches away
You can buy a soil moisture meter on amazon for 25usd it's a 4 in 1. It works well for me for pH my soil and to check the soil moisture at the bottom of my planter. I found I was watering too much just going off the top knuckle approach. I backed off using my meter to determine if they needed water til I figured out the schedule pretty much but I still double check a good bit. And they took off ever since. Alot of my problems were help solved with that $25 meter. It reads temp moisture pH and light intensity Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
