Hey guys, im looking to get a 3' x 3' grow tent to grow 3-4 plants. Curious if this light would work for what i am doing or if you have anything better to recommend around the same price range. That light would kick the shit out of a 3x3 tent, flood it with light. Even the 1000 would do good in a 3x3. If you're gonna fork over the beans for the TS 2000 I'd look at a 4x4 tent, the 2000 still throws a lot of light 2 feet from center.
You might need to raise it up a bit to avoid too strong of a center, or if you got the 1000 you could get it in a little closer and more coozy in a 3x3. Either size tents or lights would do great.
I'm pretty sure the flowering foot print is 3x3 I have one but havent really used it yet, I'm running the sp250 in my 2x4 and its killing it. 2x4 sp250 Started these under the tsw2000 in 3x3, then moved to my 2x4 when I got my sp250. I've currently got 3 clones of the above I'm gonna run in the 3x3 under the tsw2000 to give it a true run. Plants are white Siberian breeder dinafem I believe, recieved as freebies. Currently dealing with a ph issue hence the few yellow leaves.
1st run with mars lights, I've run a few different blurples and and a 315 cmh, my avg with those lights were 2‐3oz per plant. I'm only on my 7th run all together, always keep learning and reading.
Yeah im tryin to do all my research before makin any purchases. Gonna start in a tent and learn a bit then turn my garage into a grow area over time.

The TS 2000 still does good numbers 2 feet away from center if you drop the light a touch below 18" Can't always just go by recommended footprint. Some lights recommend 3x3 but may barely throw enough strong light to cover a 2x2 and vise versa.
I think if I were putting up a tent today I’d for sure go with the 4x4. Preferably a Gorilla Grow tent. For lighting I’d probably try the Spider Farmer 4000 with the LM301B diodes. For the price it covers a huge footprint. I can’t find a bad review.
