is this good soil to use ?

Miracle Grow is not recommended for growing cannabis with.

It has strong nutes and ferts in their mix to "feed" your plants.
Sometimes, if the strain you are growing is weak, the MG will burn them, and ultimately kill them.

I'm sure its not so much of an issue once the plant is big, but seeding dont like miracle grow, at all.

used it for seedlings in party cups no probs. preflush it once

 

I started my current grow in MG. It left some very slight burns on 1 of the seedlings, but they all lived and now they're all thriving over 3 weeks later. All I did was flush it once before growing. Depends on what strain you're growing I guess.

 

My advice is go to your local hydro store and buy some soil there (the staff at the store can usually be quite helpful with growing tips). Some good soils that i've successfully used include Roots Organic and Fox Farm. Miracle gro and other soils purchased at hardware stores, wal mart, etc. usually don't work too well with cannabis.

 

i highly recommend FFOF, I've used it for every one of my grows, start to finish.
