Is this ganja moldy?

    I didn't even pay for it, it was given to me free. It just looks a little ODD is all, I wanted to know the forum's impression about whether it was moldy or not.

    Can't tell from a pic.
    What strain is it supposed to be?
    Does it smell or taste moldy?
    Does it burn?
    Is it weirdly moist?

    mold is normally like a white fluff or white hairs all over, you would be able to tell the difference between white mold and trichomes. Also, green/blue mold exists but is less common. I honestly doubt that weed has mold judging by the picture but the picture doesn't have good enough lighting to judge well.

    Aside from some "pet" hairs I spot those hairs attached to the stemmy part of buds are called cystolith hairs and are similar to trichome's which are the glandular hairs aka crystal's that we all look for when spotting high grade bud. In other words they are normal although heavy on your particular sample but still imo normal. The pics aren't the clearest but as far as I can tell no mold.
