  2. yup,
the further we go, the less we know.

  3. yeah that shits real. in a decade or so we might have these readily available. i wanna get one early and print out a bunch of pipes and sell them to my stoner friends. PROFIT! (and i'll print dildos for the whores)

  4. that shit just blew my mind.

  5. ^ yeah same here.

technology expands exponentially...we're in for some crazy new developments in our lifetime

  6. imagine in 20 years. the possibilities.

  7. That's pretty raw.

Looks like it makes the model out of playdoe though.

If you think that's crazy wait until they create a nano assembler -

  9. thats totally awesome. i love technology

  10. yeah me too but not if i have to findout everything by myself xD

  11. Damn, Think of all the Smokin' Applications! I Gotta Get one of these, anyone know a Price? Shit looks Expensive... But Badass!

  12. if thats anything like using cga to make the model I say fuck that cause you have no idea how difficult that shit is

Uh, technical 3d modeling isn't as hard as artistic 3d modeling - but I'm not sure what CGA is, is that a program?

If you have all the specs technical 3d modeling is actually pretty easy - at least with autodesk inventor, that's the only program I've used.

Plus if you have a 3d printer all you need to do is get the file someone else already made and print that shit out.

  14. Isn't CAD the program that the yare probably rendering these images with?

  15. I really have no idea but Inventor would make more sense to me.

Of course it could very well use custom software.

  16. That shit's pretty cool, but it's not really new, this particular model is just really advanced. I actually modelled some things with 3D printers back in HS (rendered in AutoCAD and SolidWorks).

I can't wait to see what comes next.

yeah that's pretty fucking intense. I just wanna go into biology for this reason. Imagine all the natural things you could do with chemicals. Biology on a molecular level blows my mind, and I love every bit of it. Not that biology has anything to do with this printer, but the simplest things that we can do that is yet so complex.

Did you know two doctors at the Penn Center figured out if you can induce hypothermia on their body for 24 hours it increase the chances enormously for cardiac arrest patients. The cardiac arrest patients that live, die 9/10 times in the hospital. Imagine all the little tricks like that there are that no ones knows.

  18. does it say whats it made from? plastic im
    guessing
