Hey guys I started my plant late. I can't even remember how exactly old it is. I'd say a month. Started it pretty late outside, I didn't really care I just wanted to grow and hope it would be female and even tho I started late and it would be smaller, it would still have some buds when the 12/12 comes. Right? Here's some pics, I think it's a female but I don't know much, but I'm pretty sure the things I took pics of are the things that shows it's a female. I hope it is. If it is, do you think a plant this small will still give me buds? If it is, any tips on how I could make it bigger? You can't determine sex until you switch to 12/12, and then wait about a week or two. Sex is determined during the flower phase. Since you haven't started 12/12, there is physically NO way to tell until then.
Re-read his post, he is growing outdoors....he can't switch to 12/12, and also....outdoor growers don't follow an indoor 24/0, 18/6, 12/12 schedule. OP - it's too early to tell.
Ok thanks guys, I'm in New York and I checked the light schedules and it's nearly on 12 hours and 50 so minutes of sunlight and winding down day by day. I could change it to 12/12 as I do have a light, but it's not no professional light or something and I think sunlight would be better.
Also OP, you asked for tips to make it larger: Get a larger pot, put more soil in there so that the bottom of the stalk is about an inch below the top of the pot. It's sitting too far down in the soil. I would go ahead and put it in another pot now (preferably BLACK), add more soil to raise it up. It needs as much light as possible going into flower. Also, that's not resin on your stalks. What kind of soil, ferts and feeding schedule are you using?
The soil I'm using is "Professional potting soil with fertilizer" is what it says on the bag LOL. It has soluable potash and nitrogen and stuff. And feeds a plant for up to 4 months. Idk what a feeding schedule is, it just sits out there and I water it when the soil is crusty. P.S Thanks for the help, and nice bong in your avatar, I had the same EXACT design, but it was taller and black instead of green. Exactly the same tho besides height and color lol.
