So i have a 4x5ft area completly mylared out i have two 250 watt fixtures and one 150 watt fixture one of the 250's is a mh with agro sun gold ither switchable with hortlux hps and an hps bulb in the 150 so mh250 pushing 28,000 the hps 250 pushin 32,000 and little 150 pushing 17,000 also have two two foot strip t5 with treflectors and one t5 sunblaze 4 2ft fixture the individuals 2,500 each and the four bulb fixtire 9,000 using t5's for side suppliments i have six plants under the three hids spaced and reflecting as properly plants seen to heat issuses properly exausted very very well o be growing quite fast thick bushy healthy looking now one week in bloom and stretching a little also i lst'd then twice all tops were pretty even if notno t lower than other tops that the lst brought about so am i ok i am keeping th OLH at about six inches no heat issues either got that taken care of so do i have ample light???
If I read it correctly it looks like he`s pushing 250 watts of MH lighting plus 400 watts of HPS lighting. Not sure what type of bulbs are in the T5`s. There are several types of bulbs that can be used in them standard T5 bulbs, veg bulbs or flower bulbs. So thats 650 watts of HID lighting not including the T5 lighting.
Right i have 650 watts of hid and 150watts in t5 and im sorry the area plants are in is 3.5 ft pretty much squared i have another t5 four 2ft fixture and another 250 hid im using plantmax bulbs in t5
So your using 800 watts of combined lighting. I`d say you have enough but if you can manage the heat the more light the better. I`ve never mixed HID with T5`s though.
