  1. there were a billion threads about this a few weeks ago. lol. using any substance in excess with a developing brain is never a good idea was the general consensus. the study could very well be accurate

  2. Its definitely been proven that smoking weed before you're fully developed can stunt brain growth, or something to that effect. Long term use has been proven to cause learning difficulties in people of any age. Sorry man but its true

  3. shit. so just as long as you don't smoke alot you're fine?

  4. ya the study revolved around kids who started at like 13 and smoked at least 4 times a week

  5. "For instance, pot users may be less inclined to attend classes or do other activities that give the brain a workout. Getting off track early on can also limit future opportunities and thereby reduce IQ, she said."

First off all if your a lazy fuck when your high, OBVIOUSLY your IQ will drop because you don't pay attention fully in class or forget what you learned. All you have to do is keep your head straight focus on what really matters..... Make your self active, work out, stimulate your mind, question everything

Ive taken countless exams, tests, quizzes, lectures high as fuck and im still pulling good grades

  6. It's not that definite. Sure smoking on just a few isolated occasions on a developing brain might have no effect, but I would assume that smoking on any sort of regular basis would produce similar effects. I consider it a necessary evil haha; I've been smoking since I was 16 and I don't feel like my brain capacity is lower than it should be, maybe a bad memory but in fact i feel like I'm fairly intelligent!

Also if these scientific studies prove this is true in a universal sense then I'm sure I could be better off. But shit I'd rather smoke weed, its only going to be a minimal amount of damage at best, hardly even noticeable

  7. Youngsters shouldn't be blazing every day anyhow. You should experience life sober first. And yes, it quite possibly has an impact on your brain function... but who gives a fuck... as the article so stupidly puts it's "the equivalent of going from an A to a B student". Try looking at the IQ of the youngsters who go drinking 3 days a weeks OR those who do nothing but watch television OR those who never opened a book. Intelligence isn't always some magical thing people are born with - you have to work for it.

Also, IQ is a retarded way to measure intelligence.

  8. hahaha good shit. I thank you.
