I want to get Amazon.com: Purple Apollo brand 600w Watt Digital Dimmable Ballast Hydroponic Grow Light System with Air Cool 8 Panel Reflector and Metal Halide(MH) and High Pressure Sodium(HPS) Light Bulbs, Cord + Yoyo Hanger: Everything Else but my tent only has 4 inch and 8inch holes for venting. Does this mean this light i want wouldn't be good for my tent? THE TENT IS 2'7BY4'11BY6'7.
What size of high velocity fan are you using? They come in 4", 6" & 8" sizes. If you got an 8" vent opening and you run a 8" fan with 8" ducting then you would be fine. That size of tent you would probably be fine with a 4" or 6" HV fan an 8" would be kind overkill depending on how many CFM`s that fan is.
I didn't get the fan yet. But can you recommend what cfm fans i should get that are preferably on amazon.
For your size of grow tent with a carbon filter you would need a HV fan no less then 185cfm. Did you already order your light hood?
