Is this a plausible set up for ScOG?

  1. I was baked and I was thinking of how to maximize space in my friend's closet, so I made a diagram to help explain what I had in mind. . .

Ok so how it works is there is a screen horizontally and also going upwards along the wall. The red stripes are where proposed bud sites would grown from, and the black stripe on top of the lightbulbs is to show where the reflector would be. But what I guess I want to know is if this will work with the plants being woven up onto the wall. If they did grow id assume you would have to hold them up somehow but I feel like this would completely maximize the use of the light and space available. Let me know what you think. . .

  2. bump

    crits anyone?

  3. i was thinking of something just like this. i was also wondering of its potential benefit. i wasnt sure if tying down the plants at a slightly verticle angle would do anything since the plants grow staight up. the scrog system seems to make the plants grow shorter in between nodes also, so i wasnt sure if the plant would even make it that far up the grid during a normal life cycle. but anyone that can throw some insight to this would be awsome.

  4. yeah it's plausible.

I'll be running a similar SCROG on my next grow. Well, it's not set in stone but

the design is what I would use inside my Freezer. I'd also use eggcrate and

    do gator's MaxLst

  5. ive seen in hightimes where they just grow the plant horizontal and then the plant woould spread out... I have no idea why ur idea wouldnt work... i would imagine that you wouldnt realy get to much more because as your plants grow up the sides they will begin to grow straight up and the under sides in the bottom corners would get overwhelmed by the sides... i hope you get what im tryin to explain im kinda:smoking:

  6. I believe that would be a B.O.G. or box of green. It's a variation of a Scrog (obviously) and just helps utilize every bit of space in your room. If you're light is set up correctly, you'd also be minimizing light loss which would give you that much more fruits in the end........
