I had this seedling tested for sex and it was a female just a week ago. Now it has this on top. Is this a male now. Sent from my LG-H872 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Hey man, I can't really see inside the main cola but if it's not too far gone, you might be able to pick off the sacks and see if it goes back to producing the female parts. Just spray the site you picked the sack off with water to kill the pollen. Could be from light leak, heat or any other stress the plant endures. I just had a plant hermie and I did this. For the first few weeks, keep an eye out for any new sacks and remove them. I just noticed what I think is a seed in one of the flowers of that specimen so it most likely will have seeds in it if you keep it.
It doesn't look like a hermie to me. Looks straight male. Hard to tell from the pics though. Maybe get a closer picture of the top?
I had a kaitlyn a while back in the day.... However right now my girl(hopefully) is about half that size, maybe younger and I want to do everything I can to make sure she doesn't change... Is it all about transplanting before they get too big that helps them not change into a hermie orrr? is it by chance? How soon do i need to pot her into a bigger container? Thanks and Cheers!
I threw it away because I have a plant flowering nearby Sent from my LG-H872 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
