Hey, recently a friend was going to sell me a slide he picked up a while back. When he got it the slide was close to $200 now he's letting it go for a good amount less. A while ago he was standing it up on its joint and it tipped over and the horn now has a black line around the horn almost circular. Thing is it is still completely smooth to the touch. Here is a pic. You can see the line on the orange horn. I was just unable to tell if it was a crack or not.
if it wasn't there before, and it wasn't done on purpose with a marker or something, thats prolly a crack
I'd hit it with a drop of super glue! If it is a crack, the glue will seep into it and slow any further damage. Wipe any excess off with some acetone or nail polish remover. Granny
