First of all, monster autos is an oxy moron. Because autos dont veg like photoperiod plants they have a low ceiling for growth/weight. I take it you are growing in some kind of bubblebucket? I don't know what the question is either.
Im askin if the setup im using is a good for growing and if not what else do i need to add to it to make it better . The items i have are given above
You should grow photoperiod plants if you spend all that money on equipment. Don't waste your time on weak low yeilding auto plants. Only one parent of an auto even has psycoactive properties. Learn to grow real MJ and you will be way ahead in the growing learning curve than beginners who start with autos. If you are not a legal grow you will get the same charge of cultivation for a few small autos as you would get growing large photoperiod plants. Don't waste your time growing autos. PW
How long should i leave the females in its vegetative state ? & any recommended strains i should grow ?
Veg until the plants have grown to half of the avialable vertical space is used. The plant can increase a lot in height when flowering, depending on the strain. An indica or indica hybrid would be easier to grow than sativa varieties. PW
Wow a ton of auto hate here. If you decide to go the auto route may I suggest Auto Blackjack from Sweet seeds. Grew some autos that were larger than average (monsters, taboo I know) in coco airpots awhile ago. Photos will always give you better yield and quality but the autos have gotten a lot better over the years.
i have had great success with general hydroponics flora series...and topping of the res is exactly what it sounds like, if you have a ppm meter you can check that along with ph and figure out how much of each nute you need to put in to help avoid nutrient lock out and stuff... however if you stay on a solid feeding schedule either 4, 7 days you should be able to keep this from happening
Man you need to grow some auto's before trashing them.!!!I grow both auto's and photo"s and a lot of auto's will give you 4-6 ounces a plant of ass kicking fun.Good luck on the grow
