Is this a good piece for the money?

    For me it's between this HVY and a SYN beaker with 5mm glass and a dome perc for the same price, with the HVY I love the thickness, that's what I want, durable glass, and not to tall, it's about 14 inches, the SYN is 16. I won't be nearly as worried carrying a 9mm HVY with me in my backpack that fits inside no problem, instead of a thinner glass SYN that might be too tall. Just need help making my final decision.

    If that link doesn't work for some reason, it's a HVY beaker, 14in tall, 9mm thick glass
