what do you mean they'll out grow the light?

  4. When they get bigger theyre going to need more wattage to give it enough light and to penetrate the leaves.

thank you im a beginner. isnt that light for vegitation state right?

  6. Yeah, you can use that light until you hit veg. Then your going to want a LED light for veg 18/6 Hours a day. 18 on, and 6 off

  7. What kind of light is that? No you dont want a LED, use CFLs or a HPS light, and you can have it on 24/0.

it said it was a grow light. i was thinking of getting a new bulb for it tho

  9. That fixture only works for 17watt bulbs.. I got the same one. And I think all the other grow bulbs I have seen besides the one that came with it are 20watt or more.

  10. It's the 10 dollar wally light with a 7800k bulb in it

    really? thats shitty

  13. yeah... no....
that light wont grow anything.... maybe a stretched out seedling, but nothing really productive...

you need a minimum of 100watts per plant.
    get a HPS, or MH.

  14. HELL YEA! That's good for growing.

    Growing basil that is....

Get a real grow light man, a 2 tube t5 would do you good.
