    Lots of people say half quarter. You'd get really strange looks if you asked a dealer for an eighth of an ounce. They would tell you to just "call it a half quater you fucking weirdo."
    At least here in Toronto. You don't ask a dealer for an 8th of an ounce. You'd be better off asking for 3.5 grams.
    Even if you said that. They would be like "you mean a half quarter?"

  9. I've also never heard it called a half quarter. If u came to the U.S.and asked a dealer for that then they would also call u a fkn weirdo and tell u to call it a 8th like everyone else.
     
  10. I think an 8th makes more sense. I don't know why most people here call it a half quarter. It's been that way for a long time.
