Hi everyone, I'm on my first grow and I am not sure if this is a deficiency or if it's just vigorous growth. I'm in week 10 of veg(HPS lights were too hot, had to switch to LEDs) and feel like Im about a week or so away from flipping. I have two questions: do you think that is a good amount of time before I flip(they are also shorter from LST and supercropping) and are these lime green-like tops something to fix or worry about? I'm using two 100 watt Optic 1 XL LEDs and feeding Nectar for the Gods in Nectar #4 soil. Any help is appreciated.
Yeah, I started with one of the Optic 1 XLs and then switched to a 1000 watt HPS and it was so hot and dry that they never really grew during that time. They were so stressed. I switched back to LED and added another one. What's wrong with the trellis? I see many people using them and I have about 16-18 bud sites on each plant, so wouldn't I need them?
I don’t think so. There use to support buds when the get heavy for the stems. Look into scrog netting that trains your plants to start low. I would veg longer before flower but depending on your style you could flip now.
I took some better pictures with the lights off. Hopefully this will make diagnosing easier. By the way, is it better to add the pictures full size or thumbnail?
I love your Home Depot buckets on a kitschy aesthetic level, but hate them for root development. If soil then fabric bags. Always. Well, maybe air pots. But that's as far as I'll go.
Looks small for the age. But looks healthy. The lime green leaves looks like new growth to me they'll get darker. Good job. Sent from my SM-G903W using Grasscity Forum mobile app
