I agree with THC101..... I keep a low pro...

 

whenever I have a feeling that someone cool smokes, I'll just casually let them know that I plan on smokin a fat one later on. 9 times out of 10 they smile and say they like to blaze too.

ps smokers rarely get busted, its the dealers that the man wants.

 

i wish i could tell my girlfriend. i would love to smoke with her but i know for sure she would never smoke bud. shes been around it her whole life cuz her brothers and her bestfriends smoke and shes never even tried it before.

 

nah not really, pretty much anyone that is ever gonna hang around me is gonna find out eventually that i smoke...weither its me walkin up all red eyed or them seein roaches in my car or them comin over and seein bud posters everywhere or me bumpin some songs bout weed, basically anyone that will ever hang out with me will know i smoke cause its so obvious..... Only people that dont know i smoke is people that dont hang out with me, and if they arent hangin out with me it proally means i dont want them knowin anyways.

 

I hear what you're saying man ... I've got all sorts of friends back home that I'd like to tell ... they'd never believe it. And as for new friends ... I agree, if I think they're cool I'll mention smoking a bowl later. I'm in a college setting, so its not as big a deal when people find out you smoke.

 

I was thinking about that exact thing yesterday evening after work. I guess great minds really do think alike!! LOL. But yeah, there are a few people that I wish I could be open and honest with about smoking and there are even a few that I would love to introduce to the wonderful world of ganja. But after much deliberation, I decided that only time and fate will decide if I ever get to experience those things. If only we lived in a perfect utopia where the weed was legal and plentiful and we were all stoner hippies sitting around debating on the finer aspects of love and life and the sharing of souls!!!!!!! But that is only a dream!!!!!!!!!

 

You are right Bud Head.....those will be the days. I guess deep down in our hearts we have that utopia already. We are just waiting on the perfect environment to use as an outlet for our pouring of love. Maybe one of these days all of us truly good hearted, kind spirited, fellow hippies can once again gather for a time of peace, love, and happiness. There is nothing better than burning down with friends and fellow stoners that share the same love for such a wonderful herb!!!

flowerchild, that is absolutely beautiful. I dream of a world where weed is legal and everyone knows the truth about it, that it is the safest of all theraputically active substances.

I have a friend, one of the many people I know named Matt, who is dead set against pot. He thinks it's this horrible drug that kills all your brain cells in one puff, meanwhile he throughly enjoys his alcohol. I tried telling him that I tried pot (back when I first tried it) and he got so mad at me when I told him that I had to lie to him and tell him that I only tried it once and "had my fun, but don't plan on doing it again." He then yelled at the people who I did it with and said to them "why didn't you just get him drunk? At least that won't hurt him!"

It's so sad that the American governent has lied to people like Matt and made them believe that pot is this evil, horrible, addictive drug that inevitably leads to harder drugs, assuming that you don't die from the pot first.

Meanwhile, over the course of the year that I've been smoking, pot has helped me become a better, more well-rounded, much more agreeable, more relaxed person. I was a hyperactive, overstressed basket case before I met Mary Jane. I would love to share my positive expierene with Matt, who greatly needs to slow down and mellow out a bit, perhaps even as much as I did.

I have quite a few other anti-pot friends with whom I would love to share my smoking expierence with, but Matt is certainly the most severe case I can think of. It's just sad that they may never expierence the wonder that is marijuana.

The only hope I have of sharing it with them is that, after I've been smoking for a long time, I can be an example that pot doesn't ruin your life.

 

Living in what I've been told is one of the nation's largest marijuana trafficking towns, none of my friends really care that I smoke pot. Anyone who is anti-pot has still known enough people to not really ostracize me for smoking, but they'll never try, so I'll be nice and keep it away from them. I actually didn't even tell most of my friends. Very few people knew, and most were the few there when I got high my first time. Then I got home from college and everyone knew. I do wish that I didn't have to go through all this crap of hiding it from my parents. They'd never get it. They are honestly the most uptight of any parents I've known and would kick me out of the house if they knew I smoked. Oh well.

 

I don't know any straight up, "POT IS EVIIIIIL" people. It seems like everyone under 40 is cool with it around here. In my 4 years of tokin, I haven't met a single person that was all, "eeeevil, rots your brain, blahblahblah". My parents are only against bud until I've got a job. Then they, my dad at least, might actually try smokin a bit with me.

The more people see that us "pot heads" aren't as the stereotype portrays.

I for one am open about my use of marijuana to most evryone I meet.
