Is there a way to stretch my plant so I can water?

  1. My plants leaves are too close to the dirt and it makes it a hassle to water. is there a way to stretch it so the bottom leaves are farther above the soil? Will cutting the bottom branches have a negative affect? My plants are about 3 weeks old.

  2. should be fine to cut them but if you do use them for cutings

  3. sorry leafs wont root

  4. I am having the same sort of problem with my babies (5 weeks old). I figured it isn't a big deal because while a few bottom leafs may be contacting soil, I have so many healthy shoots above them. I mean, my stalk is growing upward and thickening, but I keep finding new baby leaves towards the bottom everyday It seems.

I am a first time grower and I am not using anything other than the wind and bamboo to train my plants, but I think I wont cut anything off until right before I want to flower. The way I see it is if a plant is growing in a healthy manner, than minor problems like these are just that.
