Is there a grower error that would make trichs take longer to mature??

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by SpliffShady25, Mar 27, 2019.

  1. I have 2 separate strains and 2 phenos of each finishing up right now. Today is the end of week 12. These are 7-9 week strains, but the trichs just yesterday were about 20% amber mostly cloudy and a few clear still. I just turned the lights off and unplugged the water pump yesterday before lights on. I have to get em out cuz my clones r getting to big for my tray and starting to get root rot.

My question is...is there anything a grower could be doing wrong that would prolong trich maturity? Some of the hairs at the top tops are still white as well. Or maybe it's just the genetics, but it's 4 phenos from 2 strains all supposed to be done in 7-9 weeks. So I'm pretty sure it's me, but when I look online there is no info on anything that would prolong trich maturity.

  2. in my last grow, i flowered a pure indica for 11 weeks waiting for the trichs to change. They never did, I waited too long and it diminished the quality of my bud.
