I'm in ceramics class and I am building a discrete teapot that can be used as a pipe. My question is, would it be safe to smoke out of after firing and glazing the clay? Thanks for the input everyone
Sounds like you're not 18 but you would be fine. Honestly you should wait till you're 18 and then pick up a bowl or papers. You might be banned quick..
lets not jump to conclusions... colleges offer ceramics too. i can't say for sure, OP but ceramic is semi porous so it's gonna take on water and all that. sounds like more of a novelty than anything.
If you glaze it I imagine it would work fine, I remember a lot of kids making them when I was in highschool and as far as I know they're all still alive. I'd give it a good cleaning with iso and salt first though.
