She is exploding up top, but I noticed this on Monday. I’ve stabilized her, but that skinny, hard brown stem looks fatal, to me.
Damping Off a fungal infection (too Wet and Cold) you can try and rub honey on there but in reality is too late sorry restart imo: good luck
If it looks good up top then I'd keep growing it. If anything it might just get a big knot right there, kind of like super cropping Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
I’m also curious about that lighter leaf. It was stuck to the one above it early on so I thought that was why it is that color, but someone mentioned TMV?
Whoa those leaves are as fat as maple leaves. Good ol indica They should recover. Theyre young and vigorous, you never know it could turn out to be the best tree you get
is no tmv ...lol one method depending on your horty skill is to graft that stem back to the rootstock/scion like vinters do or easier cut clean and drop to your bubble cloner as its still in veg good luck
Look up how to clone smaller trees coz it got fat stem Sent from my ASUS_X00ID using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Definitely not that cold. I put her into the plug around 3/27 and then into hydroton, in a solo cup. Once a few set of leaves popped I removed the plug from the hydroton to find a taproot that was already circling the bottom of the cup. I then put her into a hydrofarm and under a cfl for about a week, maybe two. She’s been under a 315w cmh ever since. I didn’t run the air pump until I saw a root reach the water inside the reservoir, and then she exploded. When the stem fattened up, I noticed it wasn’t at the bottom. My heart sank. Not the GSC! It’s a weed so I figured it would be fine, until I started googling. I’m giving it a few more days and if she starts to show decline, I’ll put her into the aerocloner. I might do that anyway. Stronger base...
My rqs cookies did good in thr cold. Said they like heat. Never stops me lol Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
So, I decided the stem wasn’t getting better.. It’s definitely the bushiest clone I’ve taken. I examined the stem after chopping her down and there was the tiniest thread of green in the center, it wasn’t going to be much longer anyway. She has grown quite well considering... I hope this is a mere speedbump.
If this were soil I might have buried it with as much fresh soil as I could to support the trunk and let it start growing more roots where it can (the same way it would taking a clone). Not sure if there is some equivalent for DWC? Are those photos above really only two days apart? Didn't look like she was dying after all. Hope the clone roots well anyway!
Yes, only two days!! It hurt to cut her but there was little time left. The outer edge was brown and hard. The next layer was brown, soft and mushy. The only live part, still transporting nutes was the diameter of a regular staple, for notebook paper. It was tiny. Fingers are crossed! The aerocloner is of my own design with a garden, 360 degree fan irrigation head. It works awesome. Haven’t lost one yet..
Well, I figured I would update.... I went back down, maybe an hour later and realized I forgot to turn off the damn CMH..... she was as crispy as your morning toast. On to the next.....
