Is RSO good with That smelly, skunky weed?

  1. Should you use a high thc strain for making RSO, or would any weed growing between your toes be good enough? What? It's a real question. "I'm new to this I tell you."

  2. Like with any edible/extract...both will work, but a lot of the time the quality and characteristics will carry over.
Also it depends on what you are making the RSO for...are you making it to get high? In which case sure, higher THC, but if you're using it for the other cannabinoids like CBD etc, look at strains known to be high in those.

  3. I deal with some nasty arthritis and a friend let me try some who takes it for nerve damage. He swears by it. I was feeling very niiiice. But the making seems arduous. Funny. I didn't get the feeling their was much cbd in it. I guess I will have to do more research. Thanks. I just thought that it being so concentrated that even a lower thc would do just as well. Plus if you paid to less for the strain, I wouldn't feel so bad if I screwed it up in the end. :)

  4. I don't think it matters what you use but if you want more CBD then use a higher CBD strain. I dilute my RSO with MCT oil so it doesn't make much difference if I use a high or low THC strain but the more THC you start with the longer your supply will last.

  5. Garbage in, garbage out. I would use a strain that I liked, not something from between my toes. If you're new I can see experimenting with lower quality bud to get some practice.

  6. Thank U.
