Is RH important or not?

    Hey all! I've been posting a bunch for different cannabis related reasons at different places on the net and have noticed that some home and commercial growers, who really know their shit when it comes to indoor growing, swear, for all the traditional reasons, that RH is very important, especially in early veg or seedling stage. Personally this has been my thinking for a decade.

    Conversely though, some other commercial and home growers I really trust and who really know what they're doing with indoor grows swear that humidity almost doesn't even matter, if at all, in early veg or even seedling stage. That seems counter intuitive to me but they're "arguments" seem like they're on solid horticultural ground. Anyone have any strong opinions either way? I'm so confused!

    You can do anything not abiding by the optimal conditions. Doing things optimally provides the best possible outcome. Doesn't mean its necessary.

    exactly what @GroBuddy said. Case n' point is the way I start my seedling using aeroponics but the RH is 40%. They Love it :D

    Keep it above 25 % under 75 % . Good to go . Keep ventualtion going 24/7 No chance of mold .
    Its about impossible to keep things under control in larger warehouses . Who wants to spend 4000 k on the e bill just to keep humidity under a level. Just run the fans 24/7 no chance of bud rot or molds . Keep the air moving in and out of the grow room non stop.
    For veg seedings whatever is fine high or low water air flow is king . No there is no need to check humidity ever if you follow the keep venting rules . If the humidity us super low in the dessert situation it may or may nor cause a problem . So spill water on the floor to get it up. Have fun stay safe by staying legal. Those ( flash bangs ) are not fun at 4 am lmao. They wake up almost anybody lol. Almost anybody depending how hard they party the night .
