Is putting creek water in a bong bad?

    Basically, i was in the woods with a few friends behind my place and a friend

    knocked over the bong but not all the water we had fell out.

    we kept like 3/4th of the normal water and only needed like 1/4th of the running creek water.

    so we filled it up the 1/4th of creek and smoked out of it.

    Would like to know, thanks.

    I'd say it's probably fine to use. If your worried about bacteria and stuff in the water, it won't cause a problem unless you ingest it. It will not hurt the piece though, it's still water.

    Considering it's running water I wouldn't worry. If it was a swamp or something like that I would question it but usually running creeks are good enough to drink so combined with the heat from the smoke killing bacteria I think you're good.

    I think bear grylls said to boil your creek water before putting it in your bong, I gotta find that episode of man vs wild to be sure.

    Yes, you heard correct. It is a very serious condition. Inhaling smoke that has passed through this incredibly contaminated water, will cause your lungs to liquefy without any prior notice.

    I've had pond water brownies but never filled my bong with it. It sounds like one of those things where I'm sure it would be fine, but I would never do it because I get wicked paranoid about shit like that.

    It depends on where the creek is located. As long as there are no chemicals being dumped that could effect the ground water, then most creeks are probably better than city water. Unless human intervention has fucked something up, nature filters water far better than man.
