Is pipe resin bad?

    I'm fairly new to smoking so my friend gave me his old pipe, and there is so much resin inside it that i can barley pull any smoke.it is not in the bowl or in the straw but in the middle, i will put a picture that i found that looks sort of like it.Also, i can remove the bowl becasue it screws in. Should i smoke that resin? It seems to be the only way to get rid of it.

    its not really bad for you. looks like shit, tastes like shit, but it'll get you high for sure

    Smoking somebody else's resin is.. disgusting.
    Wash it with rubbing alcohol and dish wash soap nd scrub hard!

    But do it! I remember when I first started smoking pot and my frind gave me her old pipe, she didn't scrape it beforehand, so I taught myself how too...


    I got SO high. :smoking: I miss those days..

    I would just clean it, resin is disgusting to smoke and it hurts your throat

    Just throw it out, resin is never worth smoking IMO.

    I'm not above smoking resin, but the only way I clean my pieces is rubbing alcohol, so it destroys the resin and turns it into stinky brown liquid. Scraping is too tedious.

    I don't really know if i want to use alcohol on wood, could it stain it or something?

    put the piece into boiling water.

    itll be clean.

    I have seen so many friends break their piece doing that.
    But I know a lot of people do.



    As for resin..
    Looks, tastes, and smells like shit. But it will get you baked if you have enough.

    Be careful though. I once got a piece for free from a friend and it was full of resin. I scraped it out and smoked a bowl. And I had green fever like no other. Cold sweats and puking all night. I later learned the piece hadnt been used in a year or two. So... that may have had something to do with it. lol.

    Well, i REALLY don't want to stain this pipe in ANY shape or form, so i have been taking 1 or 2 toothpicks and using them like chopsticks to slowly get the resin out.It isn't that bad while watching TV.I have a pretty big glop allready, maybe after a really hard work week with no weed around, ill just get super baked and watch the trailer park boys :)

    it won't hurt you and its not always that bad unless you don't clean your bong for like 6 months, then that shit would knock out an elephant.
