Is P.V.C. Glue and Primer Safe In Reservoir?

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by nu-bube, Jan 29, 2012.

  1. Hi Folks ,

Is it safe for me to use a very small amount of pvc primer and glue to glue the removable nipple on my fish tank pump to the pump body ? The nipple gets conected to 1/2 inch vynal tubing. This is my nutrient extraction system for my General Hydroponics Watertfarms.

I would not use the primer/glue that is specifically made for irrigation systems, but the stuff that is made for drinking water lines.

It seems like it would be safe to me, but I allways like to check with the PROS first :D.

    Thanks Everyone,

    Peace,
