Is my set up correct??

    First time micro grow and first grow altogether and wanting to make sure that I’m doing everything correctly, any input and knowledge is much appreciated.

    Plant is a seedling, broke through the soil 4 days ago.

    Current set up

    -350mm x 350mm x 550
    -2 x 20w CFL lights
    -1 x 12v 120mm PC exhaust fan
    -Foil lined with bbq tray acting as light reflector

    Current temp - 25 degrees Celsius
    Current R/H - 52%

    Plants are 4 inches from lights

    Is it crucial to have a intake fan or will I get away with just the exhaust fan for something this size?

    Im not sure on this but i dont think foil is a good idea does work well bro. And two 20w bulbs wont be enough light for the plant maybe 100 so another 3 or another 5 would be even better. And u need intake and out if u want the best from your plants order 1. 4 inch and 1..5 inch there pretty cheap online pal

    Yes, you need stronger light. These two lights are just enough for seeding stage.:)

    Okay thanks for your help guys,
    Is it a good idea to hold off feeding for a few weeks and start feeding it nutrients once I switch the lights?

    Start feeding quarter strength nutes once the leaves start turning yellow mate. Couple weeks later up it to half and that should be enough. There's enough nutes in soil to get them by for a while. How long varies from grow to grow tho.

    Nope, got nearly 3000w at my disposal and I don't grow in soil lol. Still sound advice though. He's already said he's gonna upgrade the lights a bit so might as well help him out :)

    Foil doesn't reflect light - it eats it. You'd be better to paint it white and like everyone else has said - more light. Good luck and welcome to GC. :)
