Hi guys, I have a few day old bag seed seedling that I'm just growing for fun. I first was growing it in the garden but moved it into the bottom of a coke bottle because I the sunlight in my garden is restrictive and I need to move it so it gets sunlight on different times of the day. The plant began drooping badly yesterday and I assumed it was from the stress of the move, but gave it some water just in case this morning. I just checked the plant now and it's looking very strong, standing vertical as opposed to maybe 45 degrees this morning but I've noticed an abundance of what looks like crystals on the first set of leaves. At first I was excited, thinking I must have got lucky and got a good strain of weed from the bag, but when I looked closely I noticed small white things that look like flowers. All I can think is that I've stressed the plant in to premature flowering? Is that even possible when it's so small? I live in the southern hemisphere so spring started on september the first, my plant is growing outside, obviously the lighting is not right for a seedling but I didn't think this would cause it to flower prematurely. Here's a pic I just took now, notice the small white "buds?" growing out between the leaves? Are seedlings supposed to be this crystally?
na man its too small to go into flower. it could be mold or just trichs coming in early, I know theres atleast a few people on GC thats had plants do it.
Okay cool, if it's trichomes does that indicate a good quality bud? And if it's mold/mildew how will I know? What's your advice for now?

hehe i actually found a plant about a half a foot tall next to a duplex building (obviously someone throwing seeds) about done flowering... it was like a quarter ounce, perfect little christmas tree shape... the shadow from the building made it flower so young... i smoked that shit.. it was actually decent
Sativa Syborg, there is no way in hell that is a quarter ounce. I've actually even flowered smaller plants. It doesn't matter what size the plant is, but the age of your plant is WAY too young to grow much more than single leaf sets. That'd be like asking a 10 month old to grow a beard, it's really really unreasonable. This is in a 2 oz dixie cup, for size reference. I bet I'll get like... a half gram!
that wasn't the entire plant, that was just what i was trying to quick fast dry because i wanted to smoke it and was impatient lol.. i actually have a pretty small flowering plant this year.. vegged for just a month.. it's a long season photoperiod (90 days) this is 4 weeks in..
