  1. looks fine....five it time and more light, but dont burn it

  2. I don't think watering every few hours a little bit is a good idea. I'd water it good then let it get dry before watering again (like a few days).

Oh, I see you have a seed in like a 3 (?) gallon smart pot. I usually start in cups and transplant, so maybe your course of action is correct?

  3. its a 1 gallon smart pot

  4. youre overwatering hardcore. overwatering means watering too frequently, not too much at a time, so youre doing it just the opposite way of how youre supposed to.
only water when the soil gets dry 2 inches deep, 1 inch for tiny sprouts.

  5. Oh, that little lady makes it look so big!! :)

  6. yea I probably should've started in solo cups or ones that I have the pineapple skunk and special queen im gonna be transplanting in 5 gallon smart pots when there old enough and probly put the special queen in 1 gal

  7. what you gotta do is stop drowning your seedlings.

  8. so how much do you think I should water once in the morning that's it and how much each

no, still way too much. as I said, water when it needs to be watered. watering schedules are bullshit.
usually, depending on the transpritation rate (which is minute for seedlings), you water once every 3-5 days. when you water, do it this way: water a little, let it soak in, water some more, let it soak in, water again, let them sit in the runoff for a couple of minutes - the whole process takes somethign between 5 and 15 minutes with a small number of plants. this way you completely saturate the soil.
well, with seedlings in oversized containers like that you shouldnt saturate the soil cuz it would take too long to dry out, so just water less.
anyways, for now you just dont water for probably 3-6 days. leave them the fuck alone.

  10. Do this! I agree with every word. Overwatering is the number one killer of seedlings. When you get watering down you have passed a milestone in growing.
If you don't get it you will always fail.

  13. Looks fine. It should start pointing up soon. I'm about 2-3 weeks ahead of u on my grow if you'd like to take a gander.

I think you are fine. It should start pointing upward.

  14. no thats horrible -.-

  15. Don't leaving it soaking in water. Just keep it moist.

For light I do 24 hrs the first 10 days with minimal watering. Then u start 18/6 with the light and introduce some water and move to solo cups

  16. stick your finger in the soil 1/2" down... it moist? don't water... think of it this way too... watering frequently maintains moisture closer to the surface, which promotes shallow root growth because the roots don't have to search deep for water (like they should)...

hope this helps...good luck! i'm about a week ahead of you in my 1 plant grow...just planted a new sprout this morning of some Sour Turbo Diesel (sour diesel x black domina)..

  17. seems to make sense, but thats not how it works. the roots actually branch out better with the regular wet-dry cycle.

  18. that's what i'm advocating... a wet-dry cycle... a continuously wet cycle with no dry out is bad... right?

  19. yes. more shallow root growth would be good though, generally with regular pots the problem is that the roots mostly grow down and concentrate in the bottom. this is reduced in air-pruning pots and fabric pots, which both kill the root tip as it reaches the sides/bottom, making the root branch out further inside, which makes for a more even root system.
