http://img.m2cmart.com/media/contentMedia/100630/EK5055-P.jpg <-its like this only a bit bigger

anyway i tried to scale up some herb today, and found that the bud would not get any reading, even if i piled it in the middle.

The bud is not compact at all, is this the problem?

The Scale Works Perfectly For Other Things

  2. You pic isn't working but I doubt its the scale size unless your scale is huge and you have less then a gram

  3. No picture.

  4. Lol, you gonna be weighing pounds?

  5. Mine has a gram setting ._.

  6. Haha I don't think your scale is too big, your weed just isnt big enough!

  7. yeah your scale is too big. get one thats smaller

  8. Ya thats like the one I used to use cause I had nothing else, was my moms

Doesn't show the decimal just rounds to the nearest gram so it doesn't work to good, also don't just pile your weed on it, put a bowl or something on and zero it out then put your weed in the bowl, more accurate

  9. not more accurate but less messy. lol

  10. A bowl wont help accuracy in any way.

You need something that weighs to 0.1g to weigh accurately, unless your weighing some huge crops, in which case being out by a few grams is irrelevant. It's a good investment, cheap and last a long time - check those dodgy dealers out :)

  11. Yea... but You need a scale that can at least measure 0.1 or 0.01 of a gram.

Also, some large kitchen generic scales just don't have that good of accuracy and calibration.

Have you tried calibrating your scale at all?

I have a normal hand scale, but I also have a large scale that can weight from .01 to 1000 grams and with the large scale I never have a problem with weighting small amounts.. I just usually don't use it for small amounts.

  12. why would it be too big?
