i've got a pc grow going on from bagseeds about 28 days now. i'm a first timer and never got to this stage before.. there are 6 plants in my case which i will shortly be narrowing down to 1-2. this one however overnight started to grow small white pistil-looking things out of the center of the newest growth. i have plants with more leaves than this one, but none of the others have these characteristics. it looks as if it's gone into flowering, even though i've still got it on the 24/0 light cycle. should i switch the lights to 12/12, or is this not actually a sign of flowering?
high there some of my girls have had pre-flowers before and still stayed in veg but they were much bigger than that before they showed sex. You can flip it now and have a very small fast harvest but I'd keep vegging for more bud sites. Good luck
cool. thanks for the quick responses. i did a little reading up and found that it's not too rare with certain strains to have preflowering during veg... if this were indeed preflowers, i'm assuming that means it's most likely female? i dont think it's just new growth coming in, because i have new growth on all of the plants, but this one has 6 or 7 tiny stark white hairs and a few very light colored fatter looking hairs as well as new leaf growth.
What a slutty plant, showing her goods that early At least you know you have a female lol. I don't think it will stress your plant too much to top if it is still in the veg stage.
It is in fact a long way off from preflowering She seems to have some nute burn as well. Are you feeding it already or is it in miracle grow soil by any chance? The plant looks to be about 2 weeks from sprout. I personally veg for 8 weeks before switching to 12/12 I wouldn't top it till it's good and healthy again. You can, but it's already stressing and you could risk it flipping on you (hermie)
i am using MG organic... is that typically a problematic soil? i haven't used any other nutes yet... i attached another picture of the plant... does it look like it's definitely nute burn? i swear to god miracle grow has a monopoly in my area cuz i literally can't find anything else around here. the nearest place that sells fox farm is like an hour from me or more.
k there's several things that can go wrong with MG soil... pH problems, nute burn, and bugs are the most prevalent problems... normally it grows seedlings fine until it's time to nute, but everything's different, so you never know... by how dark green the newer foilage is, and how burnt your earlier leaves are... i'd say it would be a good choice to drive that hour for soil you can count on... i've seen plenty of grow journals using MG... two or three had no problems... the rest were in pH hell, had random bugs pop out several times, or got overferted right before flowering (which may be by human mistake several times, but time-release ferts can be a bitch to predict) so if you haven't used ANY nutes yet... it's the soil, and it's weird it's acting up this early, but never underestimate the lethality of time-release nutes in your soil...
these r my seven garls ive had dem for like a month, i have them out doors, with organic soil, i was wandering if they r pre flowering hmu
