    This is only its second day being alive in dirt and the seed has not fallen off completely yet. Just wondering if it's doing alright, thanks for any replies!

    Yeah you're fine dog. Your seedling is going to open its leaves and break off the seed shell. You can lightly take it off if you see that the leaves are good to go.
