I just built a grow box with the dimensions of 5ft high/2ft width/1ft depth and I plan on starting a 2 plant autoflower grow once I do a little more research... I had a few questions I bought/installed 4 68 watt CFL's from home depot that are 2700k. that totals 16800 lumens and 272 watts. will this be a good amount of light for 2 autos? also, I am limited on ground space in my growbox, so I don't know what size pots to use.. what would fit based on my specs? would it be reasonable to expect 1-2 ounces per plant (using afghan kush autos) with this set-up? assuming everything else goes great thanks for the help
I am no expert on CFL lighting. I have grown for 10 years using MH and HPS lamps... which is supposedly the best available. I can tell you that your expectations are too high.... I know I could not do that with your space even if I had the best lamps. If everything went well, I think you might get one oz between the two plants... and that is only if you are skilled and very lucky. keylime
