Alright before I begin, I know the general saying is 'if it's too good to be true, it probably is'. But I checked it out in store before I bought it and the quality looked excellent so I thought might as well gamble for $110 bucks. I got it from the local Flea Market from a store called 'SKCigs'.

Anyways, here are some pictures of the pax. It was sealed in plastic when I bought it:

    The charger is 9V, 1.3A

The 'g' in Designed looks like the g on the real one

The serial number matches the one on the box 'XXXXXX'

This is what it looks like when it is charging, and no I do not need to remove the mouth piece in order to charge it:

Btw the cleaning kit does come with two 'Mouthpiece Lubricant's as well.

    What do you guys think?

Looks real to me, what do I know though ? Shoot an email over to pax with your serial number and see if its real.

If it is you got it at a great price, it was new ?

Take down your serial number! Pretty sure your never supposed to do that!

  4.
Oops.. I took it down.. but yeah it was brand new sealed. They had the purple one and one green one left and I chose the green one because it was still sealed.

  5. Every thing I can see makes it look real. If its a fake then they are definitely getting them a lot closer to the real ones than in the past.

  6. Wondering if its under warranty or not. I would think they ask for proof of purchase. Safe to assume it wasn't an authorized seller based on the price.

Yeah I don't think that store is an authorized seller. I'm so confused about this Pax right now lol i'm about 80% sure it might be legit just because the way it works.. the charger is 9V, the 'g' in Designed is the proper g, the light situation is as follows:

    When charging it is Red/Orange
When heating up the chamber it is Purple-ish/Blue and once it's done it becomes solid green.
Once you take a toke on green and set it down on the table, the light turns Blue and stays that way unless I pick it up or move it (it immediately turns Purple at that point).
The heat setting lights are Yellow (low), Orange (medium), Red/Pink (high)
It get's really hot on the high setting (not hot enough for me to let go of but hot enough as a cup of tea)
The box came with 2 mouthpiece lubricants, a bunch of pipe cleaners and 5 of those wipes
The manual has the correct light scheme (Yellow/Orange/Red).
The barcode looks legit (starts with a B and matches the one on the box)
The charging station looks exactly like the one in the legit ones (I've seen side by side comparisons)

Pretty much everything seems legit except the fact that I got it for $110... can it be possible I hit a home run? lol

Could of just been a place looking to get rid of the rest of their stock fast. Probably made there money back already off their order so they wernt stressing about making a killing off the last few they had. My friend who owns a vapor shop does that kind of stuff all the time to clear stuff off his shelves of what isnt selling fast.

  9. What a steal... Good for you dude

  10. Looks legit based on my experience with having a fake and real green pax. Pretty sure that's real. Great price

  11. Great :) I feel pretty baked off it, not as much as smoking but the bud isn't amazing to begin with. The vaped bud in a firecracker however gave me a nice buzz  :yummy:

Anyone got tips or tricks with the Pax?  :bongin:

  12. They look real to me. Congrats for getting it on a nice price.

My personal experience, here's a simple tip. At the end of a session don't close the mouth piece until the unit is cool completely. This stops gunk from cementing around the mouth piece area causing it to stick. So power off the pax by letting it sit in standby until it powers it self down.

That looks like the real deal, or it's a high quality fake.....but if it works then it works!

  14. I messaged Ploom with the pictures and serial number and the lady told me that it is not an authentic Pax. But to be honest, this is as close to it could possibly get to a real Pax...  this shit gets me soo nice nd it's convenient as fuck! my lungs already feel better lol

I personally am extremely happy with the purchase even if it is actually a fake Pax because it works better than I had anticipated  :smoking:

The battery lasts me for pretty much all my sessions during the day, I just charge it for a couple hours at night. The lights work perfectly and I haven't had any issues with turning it on/off or not getting a nice vapour.

That said, beware that there might be even more identical clones than previously. Personally, I'd rather have this at $110 than the real thing at $250 + tax but the real one does come with a 10 year warranty so I guess that's good. The store I bought from has their own warranty on their website so I might be covered there if anything.

  15. This one definitely looks better than a lot of the fakes out there, did she tell you exactly what tipped her off to it being a fake?

  16.
As soon as I asked her that she stopped replying lol.. maybe she knows it's such a good fake that I'm not gonna bother buying a real Pax lol

Or maybe there's a chance it could be real but she told me it's not because I didn't give her the receipt (could always hope) but I doubt it

  17. She replied back today and told me that the charger doesn't have 2 circles around the + and - symbols and that the serial number was already registered to another user.

On another note, holy f*cking shit i'm high  this is the best investment I've ever made straight up lol haven't felt this nice in probably over a year... off of less than .5 usually I can kick a 1.5 in a blunt nd not get this high lol

    :hippie:     :bolt: :bongin:

  18. Yes it's real. Now what if it does not work? I have a fake one I can sell you for $50 that works.....

  19. Looks straight. But word of advice from a pax user: charge it upside down (balance it) and try to always keep it right side up. As much as possible at least. Doing both of those goes a long way to slow the clogging process
