Hey all, I have a 2x4x5 foot grow tent by Vivosun. I just ordered a “2000” watt COB LED. Apparently I need to keep the light 18-24 inches away from my plants. I am concerned my plants will grow too clos3 to the light. Have anyone run into this issue or will I be Ok. I am planning to grow autos in 3 gallon air pots with Fox Farm ocean forest mixed with Perlite. I have Holland Secret Grow, Micro, Bloom for nutrients.
Train short bushy plants, then no worries about reaching the light during flower stretch, and if need be you can bend some tops 1-3 weeks into flower if they look like they are going to be cuttin it close still
If at all possible get a taller tent. My 9 ft tall space isn't tall enough for some autos in hydro. Topping and training might be your only hope. Don't try too many plants, because you will need empty spaces to bend branches into while training. Every inch will matter, so pick the shortest containers possible.
