Is my gravity bong unhealthy for me?

    I have a Hawaiian punch bottom as the bottom that holds the water than a mountain dew two liter bottle cut off and use that as the chamber for the smoke. On top for the bowl I got a snapple cap with a bolt (i think thats what its called) as the bowl. My question is when I light the weed will only the metal get heated or could some of the heat melt the side of the plastic bottle below?

    Just have a look when your rising it. If you see plastic melting I would change to a glass bottle.

    You can knock the bottom off a wine bottle with a drill bit

    It's probably fine unless you notice the taste or smell of burning plastic or obvious distortions on the g-bong itself. I new some dumbass kids that smoked out of tinfoil and a rubber hose who got all sick from it and never smoked weed again. LOL, better be safe than sorry dawg.
