is my box big enough?

  1. I have a small grow box in my shed ready, its painted matt white paint all inside, has a couple of pipes, one at the bottom and one at the top to help air circulation, the box is an old piece of furniture we dont need anymore its been in my shed for years with other crap, I have stripped it out anyways and I have about 1ft wide 1ft heigh and just under a 1ft deph. Its like a cube shape but its not a perfect cube, anyways I will be growing with a couple of CFLS and I have a fan in there too.

I am just wanting to know if any of you experienced growers can tell me if my plant will grow in there or is it too small? I havent grew before so I dont know what size I need, it is small because its a stealth grow in my shed.

Here are a couple of photos if anyone is interested,

first one shows where the old piece of furniture is hidden.

second one shows the inside of the grow box, it looks dark in there because I have used some black felt to cover the walks on the outside to stop light coming through, but the inside is painted all matt white now.

  2. i often tell my girlfriend that her box is too big, and smells suspiciously like fish.

  3. that wasnt very helpful lol

  4. A 1 cubic foot grow box will last you for about three weeks with one or two plants. then you'll need to relocate.

Not worth the effort find something bigger. 2X3x4 is good for a full 2 plant grow and 2x2x2 or 2x2x3 will work for vegging

  5. yes thats big enough for fluorescents. you may want a biger one for flowering or sue LST.
