Is my baby beyond help?

  1. For reasons beyond my control, I had to leave my seedling unattended for about 5 days. :(This meant I wasnt able to water it. When i finally got back, it had fallen over and the place where it had bent... well, heres a picture.[IMG]
Ive watered it, propped it up and the plant still seems generally healthy, but as a first-timer Im understandably paranoid. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. Is my plant damaged beyond help or does it seem likely to heal? Thank you for any help at all.

  2. I had that a few weeks ago on some seedlings i had, i re-burried the main stalk as much as my pots would hold, then put a really weak fan on( simulate wind) my stalks have thickened up and im hoping maybe roots have built higher up my stalk. Hope that helps

  3. Yeah,
I agree, burry the stem and get a fan.
    Be careful.

  4. i agree, but if that plant doesnt take off and regrow like it should, your plant wil have a decrease of nutrients and uptake of water for the time its growing, so it will grow slow if it doesnt recover
