I'm pretty sure they make a hell of a lot more from heroin and llello. It started out as the timber companies not wanting competition, and is still illegal due to them, big pharma, tobacco companies, and just the fact the government wants to slowly take away our freedoms, not give us more.
[quote name='GutteralShiva']I'm pretty sure they make a hell of a lot more from heroin and llello. QUOTE] i dunno i think theres a waaaaay higher demand for marijuana over heroin and coke but ya its not like they'll run out of money anyways
Marijuana makes, more often than not, more of a profit when illegal, than legal. That is a huge reason why its still illegal in the US
It would make too much sense for them to change anything...minds would be blown. Egypts got the right idea.
Anything that is or could be a sign of a revolt is banned so they control the rebels so they don't get kicked out of position. It's a smaller version of Star Wars. I just figured this out yesterday by watching Tommy Chong's documentary.
I'm sure our military outnumbers the cartels by like 5 to 1. They'd give up after the first hour of war, given that they even tried to retaliate.
Marijuana is illegal because back in the 30s(might be 20s I'm not to sure) this guy that ran a huge lumber company didn't want hemp to take over so used his vast amount of money to start a slander act against marijuana, with posters, commercials(radio), and movies( biggest one was reefer madness, which started the myth that marijuana causes schizophrenia). This is the original and pretty much main reason it's illegal. The reason it's STILL illegal is cuz people still buy these(for the most part) lies. Check out my thread it's called propaganda against marijuana needing to stop
This is one of the arguments that piss me off the most because it's pointless. It's like one of the last resort topic when debating with someone about Legalization because they know they're going to lose the debate.
