So let me start off by tellin you my current situation. Right now im a highschool drop out, College drop out (at least this semester) and im working a $7 job part time at night. Im also living at home, which sucks balls. Its been nice to have some spare time for the last few months of not being in school, but im tired of it. Im tired of being bored outta my mind just smokin weed and chillin while all my other friends are workin day time jobs and goin to school. I dont want to self glote but im way to smart to be having this routine. Ok so yesterday i applied, and got a call back today, for a job that pays close of $15 an hour full time. The thing is, they drug test you on the spot if there is any kind of accident AT ALL, even if it isnt your fault. Right then and there you have to piss in a cup and i know many people have gotten fired from this. With that kinda money, i can easily afford to move out of my house and put some cash into the bank + pay off my debts. But the thing is, im pretty sure ill have to quit smoking bud. I cant afford to loose a job like that. It would just cripple my life. But so would loosing my sweet herb. I LOVE bud and have devoted almost 5 years of my life to it, and now i might have to give it up . Im really torn over this. Its driving me insane. I dont know what to do right now. I feel like its REALLY important for my life. But in all reality, i believe bud is too. Any suggestions? Imput at all? -Geo P.S- If i quit tokin that means i have to quit GC . Hey man, you gotta do what you gotta do. MJ will always be there if you decide you want to come back to it, but this kind of job offer won't come around often. I'm struggling to find a job right now, and I'd kill to be in your position.
If it came down to me in that position, I'm not sure if I'd be able to quit smoking, but my advice to you is to do what is the obvious choice and take the job. It'll be good for you, and even if down the line you want to smoke and you leave that job, you should have saved a decent bit. Anyway, take the job man, sounds like a good move for you.
What I was going to say. Also, they won't test you RIGHT there but you will have to go directly to get piss tested. Soooo just keep a whizzinator/fake urine job near-by or in your car.
dude i was in the same position recently, i spare the details but long story short, things are cool right now. i say go for the job and just dont get hurt or cause an accident.
my jobs the same way if something happens. and i still smoke bud, shit im blazed most of the time in the beginning of work. ive actually had an accident happen at work 2-3 times already where i should of got drug tested. but ive been lucky. worse case scenario something happens they make me test, i get this one day detox i used to get the job and pray for the best. worse worse case ill quit, fuck it. i can get a better job easily.
I've seen fake penises that keep the piss at body temp... I personally would just quit for awhile...and smoke every now and then so it won't show up - because you need to get that cash to start you life........herb...or life with much herb in the future?
Exactly. Read that last line. I would take the job dude. Just dont cause an accident and have a backup plan just incase it happens. But odds are that you'll be fine w/o even being drug tested.
First of all man, go for it. Get off your ass and do something with your life. Having weed be your entire life isn't good. And in my jobs if there is an accident you have to take a drug test but they usually tell you when you're going to take it, they don't just spring it on you. It's not like they have a bunch of piss tests stock piled in closets or some shit. They will give you a time and date and you can get piss from someone to help you pass. You can still smoke, just do it after work when your trying to chill, dont come to work fucked up if it would bring down your effectiveness.
